Allied Blenders and Distillers has announced the appointment of Amar Sinha as Managing Director Designate, effective 2 April 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition.
The move comes as current Managing Director Alok Gupta nears the end of his tenure, with the company aiming to ensure continuity while strengthening its long-term growth strategy.
Sinha brings over three decades of experience across the alcohol beverage and consumer sectors. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Radico Khaitan and has held leadership roles, including Managing Director at Whyte & Mackay India, as well as positions at Herbertsons under the UB Group.
His appointment aligns with ABD’s focus on value creation and market leadership, leveraging his expertise across sales, marketing and business transformation to steer the company’s next phase of growth.
