In a distinctive tribute to National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), Asian Paints, in partnership with Ogilvy India, launched a digital campaign that wove poetry into the fabric of colour.
Throughout April, Ogilvy crafted original poems built entirely from the shade names of Asian Paints. These verses were shared across the brand’s social media platforms, each post transforming a single colour into a narrative of memory, feeling, or thought. The range of poems spanned from nostalgic recollections to modern musings — a poetic palette celebrating the expressive potential of hues.
This creative venture not only showcased the breadth of Asian Paints' shade offerings but also repositioned the brand as a curator of cultural and emotional expression, going beyond home décor to become a source of creative inspiration.
Sukesh Nayak, CCO, Ogilvy India, said: “Colours speak. Sometimes, they shout with joy, and sometimes, they whisper like poetry. With this NaPoWriMo initiative, we wanted to let each Asian Paints shade express itself through verse — subtle, evocative, and beautifully human. It’s a quiet celebration of creativity that lives on our walls and in our words.”
The campaign exemplified how branding and art can intersect, with each hue becoming a story and every story painted in shades of imagination.
