Asian Paints illuminated the Bandra–Worli Sea Link to mark its new role as the Official Colour Partner of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for India’s home cricket.
The Sea Link, one of Mumbai’s major landmarks, was lit in a sequence of colours drawn from Asian Paints’ range of over 5,300 shades. The display was designed to reflect the connection between cricket supporters, the game and the brand, using colour as the central theme.
Asian Paints selected the Sea Link for the announcement as it is associated with movement, progress and connection—qualities the company says align with its own development and with the direction of Indian cricket. The lighting installation was positioned as a public event, visible across the city, allowing residents to witness the partnership reveal.
As the first company from the paints and décor sector to partner with the BCCI, Asian Paints views the agreement as an important step in its engagement with sport. The initiative forms part of its wider approach to create large-scale public experiences combining design, colour and storytelling.
