Asian Paints has launched its latest campaign, 'Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai', celebrating the uniquely Indian practice of recognising homes through their colours. As part of the initiative, the brand has partnered with Zomato to bring this everyday behaviour to life through a special in-app integration.
Rooted in Asian Paints' Colour Warranty proposition, the campaign draws on a familiar cultural insight: long before digital maps, homes across India were identified as "the blue house near the temple" or "the yellow bungalow at the corner." The brand positions colour as a lasting identity that helps people recognise, remember and navigate neighbourhoods.
Taking the idea beyond storytelling, Asian Paints has collaborated with Zomato to introduce colour identifiers within the food delivery platform's experience. The integration, which will run for 15 days across nearly four million orders nationwide, aims to recreate India's 'Ghar Pehchaan System' by using colour as a familiar navigation cue for homes.
The campaign film follows a delivery partner navigating a neighbourhood where directions are consistently shared through house colours rather than street names or building numbers. Conceptualised with White Rivers Media, the film highlights how colours often become the most memorable way to identify homes across cities, towns and villages.
Speaking about the campaign, Amit Syngle, MD & CEO, Asian Paints, said: "Every home has a story, and very often that story begins with its colour. Across India, colours have quietly become a way for people to identify places, share directions and create lasting memories. With every second home in India celebrating Asian Paints' Colour Warranty, we've witnessed colours become lasting identifiers of homes and neighbourhoods across the country. 'Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai' celebrates this uniquely Indian way of navigating through colour, and our collaboration with Zomato brings that everyday insight to life in a way that feels familiar, intuitive and deeply rooted in how India finds its way home."
With the campaign, Asian Paints seeks to connect its Colour Warranty proposition with an everyday cultural behaviour, using technology and storytelling to reinforce how colours continue to shape the way Indians find and remember home.
