Axis Capital rolls out Sound Bytes, short AI audio insights for busy investors

Axis Capital has introduced Sound Bytes, an AI-generated audio summaries of its research reports. These short, 2-minute clips give investors a quick overview before they decide whether to read the full report. The idea is to save time, reduce information overload, and make research easier to access even while driving, commuting, jogging, or grabbing coffee.

Traditional research reports are still text-heavy, a format carried over from the print era. While digitisation cut down on paper, the way research is written and shared hasn’t really changed. Meanwhile, the volume of information keeps growing, making it harder for investors to keep up.

Sound Bytes solves this by turning research into short, clear audio updates. They are not just quick abstracts or clickbait but focused summaries that highlight key insights and investment calls. Audio is also easier to process and reduces fatigue compared to constant reading.

Axis Capital produces thousands of research pieces each year. Using AI-powered large language models, the company can now summarise and deliver these reports in audio form quickly, accurately, and in line with regulatory guidelines.
