boAt and Google Launch #boAtGeminiChallenge to Promote AI-Driven Ad Creation

Encouraging users to create print ads for boAt’s products using Google’s AI platform, the brand has announced prizes valued at up to ₹5 lakh

boAt and Google Launch #boAtGeminiChallenge to Promote AI-Driven Ad Creation

boAt, an Indian audio and wearables brand, in partnership with Google, has announced the launch of the #boAtGeminiChallenge. The initiative encourages participants to use Google’s AI tools available in the Gemini app to create advertisements featuring boAt products.

The campaign, described as a first-of-its-kind initiative, is set to roll out in two phases starting from 8 October 2025 and will accept submissions until 14 October 2025. Full details, including submission guidelines and timelines, are available on boAt’s official Instagram page.

The challenge will be held in two parts. Phase 1, titled the Nano Banana Print Ad Challenge, invites participants to design print advertisements using Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash (Nano Banana), an AI image editing tool. Entrants are required to combine boAt product visuals with designated features such as active noise cancellation in headphones, enhanced bass in speakers, fitness tracking in smartwatches, and soundbars. The ads must reflect typical lifestyle use cases.

Phase 2, the VEO 3 Video Ad Challenge, involves the use of Google’s generative video model, Veo 3, also within the Gemini app. Participants will be asked to create video advertisements that integrate boAt products into everyday scenarios experienced by young people across India.

A spokesperson for boAt said, “Our vision is simple yet bold: to unlock the creative potential of every Indian, across tiers and cultures. Since marketing and advertising today are powerful storytelling mediums, there could be no better opportunity than the #boAtGeminiChallenge to take our collaboration with Google and ad-making to the next level through a smart blend of technology, creativity and innovation.”

A total of ₹10 lakh in prize money is being offered across both phases—₹5 lakh for each. Additional rewards include boAt products, Google Gemini subscriptions, and other items. Winners of Phase 1 will be announced on 15 October 2025. The date for the Phase 2 winner announcement has not been disclosed.

The campaign aims to bring together technology, cultural expression, and content creation in a single initiative.
