Bosch Home Appliances, in collaboration with creative agency Ting, has launched Kitchen Up, a campaign featuring actor Vikrant Massey. Centred on the idea of personal growth, the film explores how homes, and kitchens in particular, evolve as people move through different stages of life.
The film traces Massey’s journey from his mother’s tiffin business to buying his first home, using these milestones to reflect on changing aspirations and priorities. It draws a parallel between personal progress and the spaces people inhabit, suggesting that a home grows with its residents as their needs and lifestyles evolve.
The kitchen takes centre stage in this narrative, with Bosch home appliances positioned as part of the decision to upgrade a familiar space for a new phase of life. Rather than focusing solely on product features, the campaign highlights the emotional considerations behind such choices, connecting the evolution of Massey’s relationship with food and cooking to his idea of a more suitable kitchen.

Delivered through Massey’s understated narration, the film presents upgrading as a matter of making considered choices rather than simply acquiring more. For Bosch, the campaign links its appliances with the idea of improving everyday living while retaining the personal significance of a space that has grown alongside its occupants.
“Category communication for kitchen and home upgrades almost always leads with the product: specs, features, finishes. But an upgrade is rarely about the appliance. It’s about what the home has come to mean to someone, and what the next chapter looks like. In an era where AI is making everything faster and more automated, we wanted to do the opposite and slow down. This film is built around Vikrant’s personal journey, because that’s where the real story is, and where the brand can earn a place in people’s lives beyond the transaction,” said Aadil Mehta, Partner, Ting.
Speaking about the campaign, Nitin Mishra, Senior Director - Brand Management (Region India) at BSH Home Appliances India shared, “At Bosch, we believe that as lifestyles evolve, the spaces we live in should evolve with us. With ‘Kitchen Up’, our ambition is to inspire Indian consumers to look beyond conventional kitchens and reimagine them as spaces that reflect their aspirations, individuality and changing needs. Our collaboration with Vikrant Massey brings this philosophy to life, as his journey of constantly evolving and moving beyond the ordinary resonates strongly with the campaign’s core thought. Through this initiative, we aim to accelerate awareness and aspiration for built-in appliances in India, while strengthening Bosch’s position as a trusted partner in creating modern, future-ready kitchens.”
Ting has planned a phased rollout for the campaign, beginning with a pre-launch phase focused on personal progress and everyday upgrades, followed by the release of the film featuring Massey. Through Kitchen Up, Bosch Home Appliances aims to connect the functional aspect of kitchen upgrades with the milestones and aspirations that shape people’s lives.
