Bosch Home Comfort India (BHCI) has brought on board industry veteran and former Voltas CMO Deba Ghoshal as Leadership & Business Advisor - Marketing.
Ghoshal shared the development on LinkedIn. In his new role, he will work closely with the leadership team and report to Sanjay Sudhakaran, Managing Director, Bosch Home Comfort Group in India.
At BHCI, which manages the Hitachi air-conditioning business in India, Ghoshal will support initiatives focused on strengthening brand equity, building long-term brand assets, enhancing channel engagement and accelerating growth in a competitive market.
The appointment comes nearly a year after Ghoshal moved from corporate leadership roles to independent consulting. A marketing and business leader with more than three decades of experience, he has held senior positions across organisations including Voltas, LG Electronics, Hero Electric and Honda Power Products.
The Bosch Home Comfort mandate adds to Ghoshal’s growing portfolio of advisory assignments, which are now housed under Boardwalk & Co, a consulting platform founded by him. The consortium brings together former CEOs, CXOs and industry specialists to provide strategic guidance across sectors including consumer durables, cooling products, automotive and FMCG.
Boardwalk & Co focuses on areas such as marketing transformation, digital and AI-led enablement, business turnaround, operational excellence, corporate affairs and profit growth initiatives.
