Britannia Industries Limited has appointed Puneet Das as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and elevated Siddharth Gupta from General Manager – Marketing to Vice President – Marketing.
Das’ appointment will take effect from February 16, while Gupta’s promotion is effective from February 1.
Das has more than 24 years of experience across Indian and international FMCG markets, including Africa, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. He has held senior leadership roles at Marico Limited, PepsiCo India, GSK Consumer Healthcare India and Tata Consumer Products Limited. During his career, he has worked on brands including 7Up, Boost, Horlicks, Tata Tea and Tetley.
Gupta has been with Britannia since 2018 and currently leads marketing for the company’s Biscuit, Wafer and Snack portfolio.
He has nearly 20 years of experience across brand management, strategy, innovation, communication, customer marketing and sales. Before joining Britannia, he spent over a decade at Colgate Palmolive, where he joined as a Management Trainee in 2006 and later led marketing for toothpaste categories including Freshness, Whitening and Sensitivity.
