Canara Robeco Asset Management Company (Investment Manager to Canara Robeco Mutual Fund), has rolled out a rap song campaign to promote financial freedom through mutual fund investing. The initiative, a part of the company’s investor education program, encourages individuals to take charge of their financial journey in a relatable and engaging manner.
The campaign uses music to break down complex investing concepts and make them more relatable to today’s digital-first, mobile-savvy audience. The rap track, which is being rolled out across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, demystifies mutual fund investing and promotes long-term wealth creation by linking it to the idea of financial independence.
Rajnish Narula, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Canara Robeco Asset Management Company, commented, “True independence goes beyond political freedom as it includes the ability to make informed and confident financial decisions. This rap song is our creative effort to celebrate India’s Independence by inspiring individuals to pursue financial freedom. We are committed to blending innovation with a balanced media approach, leveraging both traditional and digital channels to connect with a wider audience.”
“As part of our continued focus on meaningful investor engagement, the rap song promoting financial independence, reinforces our aim to make investing simple for the layman. With this rap song, we are speaking the language of the people, bringing clarity to mutual fund investing while promoting long-term financial habits. It introduces key concepts like Systematic Investment Plans (SIP), Systematic Transfer Plans (STP), and Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWP)—collectively known as the 3S of investing – underexplained yet powerful tools that can help investors plan, grow and manage their wealth with consistency and discipline,” said Gaurav Goyal, Head – Sales & Marketing, Canara Robeco Asset Management Company.
This campaign follows a series of investor education initiatives from Canara Robeco AMC, including the Nivesh Bus Yatra, which has been travelling across Indian states like Kerala, Punjab, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to deliver financial literacy on the ground.
