Canva has launched Aap Aur Canva, Jodi Wah Wah!, its biggest brand campaign in India to date, bringing together Farah Khan, Raghu Ram and Terence Lewis in a playful take on the reality-show judging format.
The campaign builds on Canva’s Dil Se Design Tak, which ran for two years and sought to reinforce the idea that creativity and design are not limited to professionals. The latest campaign takes that proposition further, focusing on how people can turn ideas into finished work with the help of Canva’s AI-powered tools.
India is Canva’s fourth-largest and one of its fastest-growing markets globally. The campaign features creators, working professionals and small business owners using Canva to turn their ideas into visual content, presentations and marketing material.
From “Can I?” to “I Can.”
For two years, Dil Se Design Tak helped reshape the conversation around creativity in India, showing that great design isn't reserved for professionals - it's for everyone. As millions embraced creativity, a new question emerged: "I have the idea. Now how do I make it?" That's where Aap Aur Canva, Jodi Wah Wah! begins.
The campaign shifts the conversation from believing you can create to showing just how effortlessly you can. With Canva AI, people no longer need to learn the language of design; they simply create in the language they already think in, bridging the gap between imagination and execution in seconds.
“India has never had a shortage of creativity. What we're witnessing now is a shift in who gets to bring that creativity to life. Every day, someone has an idea that could start a business, tell a story, solve a problem or inspire a community. Our role at Canva isn't to tell people how to be creative - it's to make sure nothing stands between that spark of an idea and the confidence to share it. That's why this campaign matters. It celebrates a future where creativity is no longer limited by experience or technical skills but powered by imagination. And in that future, the best ideas will shape what’s next,” said Chandrika Deb, Country Manager, India, Canva
When the judges run out of criticism
For years, Farah Khan, Raghu Ram and Terence Lewis have been the faces of judgment on Indian television, deciding who's got what it takes. In Aap Aur Canva, Jodi Wah Wah!, they're finally left with nothing to critique.
As a creator, a busy professional and a small business owner, each step forward with a bold ‘I Can... CANVAAAA!’, hesitation gives way to confidence, and even India's toughest judges become believers. It's a playful expression of Canva’s promise: helping anyone turn an idea into something they're proud to share.
The campaign brings together Raghu Ram’s Roadies association, Farah Khan's Bollywood persona and Terence Lewis’ connection to dance, using their distinct personalities to anchor the campaign’s reality-show-inspired format.
Built for the way India creates
The campaign focuses on three groups shaping India’s creative economy: Creators, Working Professionals and Small Businesses. Creators want content that keeps pace with their imagination. Professionals need to communicate with impact under tight deadlines. Small businesses need marketing material without agency budgets.
The hero films, shot in Hindi and Tamil, use Indian cultural references and familiar moments while showcasing Canva's AI tools. Magic Video 2.0 transforms ideas into trend-ready videos from a phone, while AI-powered Presentations turns a simple prompt into a polished deck, complete with charts. Magic Layers is designed to simplify marketing creation, while Canva Pro Lite, an AI-first, mobile-first subscription designed and priced specifically for India, puts premium creativity within reach of millions more people.
Beyond the hero films, the campaign also features short-form creatives showcasing Image to Video, Style Match, AI Video Effects, Offline Mode, and Music & SFX Generation.
A new creative partnership
The campaign marks Canva's first creative collaboration with independent agency Fundamental.
“Design is intimidating for most of us. Not because we’re short on inspiration. Because we lack the know-how and tools to convert our vision into reality. And that’s exactly where Canva comes in. Our campaign first brings alive the doubts that plague creators, working professionals and business owners and then kills those doubts once and for all. It’s a celebration of the can-do spirit of Canva and the partnership it can provide us all,” said Pallavi Chakravarti - Founder & CCO, Fundamental
