Mandeep Sharma has left his position as Chief Operating Officer at Cheil India, multiple sources have confirmed.
His departure marks another change in the agency’s senior leadership. Sharma joined the Samsung-owned advertising firm in mid-2024, initially overseeing the Samsung account before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Sharma has held senior roles across major agency networks, including McCann Worldgroup’s MRM division, JWT’s Thompson Connect, and Ogilvy One. His work has focused on customer relationship management, engagement strategies, and product development across client and agency functions.
This move follows a series of senior exits at Cheil India. Earlier this year, Chief Growth Officer Neeraj Bassi left the company after managing business expansion and overseeing creative, media, and activation functions for Cheil X.
Before that, Sanjeev Jasani stepped down as COO of Cheil India and Southwest Asia. Jasani joined the company in mid-2015 as Chief Digital Officer and was promoted to COO in early 2020.
When contacted for comment, Cheil India declined to provide a statement. Details about Sharma’s next role have not been disclosed.
