Chinese Wok Introduces Immersive AR Experience to Elevate Dining

Chinese Wok, India's largest Chinese restaurant chain, is set to elevate dining with an exciting new digital feature that combines entertainment and innovation. The brand, known for its vibrant Desi-Chinese flavours, has introduced an immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience across its outlets, transforming the way customers interact with their meals.

Upon scanning a QR code at the table or counter, customers unlock a dynamic digital experience. A vibrant CGI Chinese Wok chef appears on-screen, performing high-energy stunts such as flipping woks, tossing noodles, and expertly plating signature dishes. This feature is also available via QR codes on takeaway and delivery bags, ensuring customers can enjoy the experience wherever they are.

With this immersive experience, we are redefining how customers interact with our brand—merging entertainment with functionality. It’s an exciting step forward in making every visit to Chinese Wok truly unforgettable.”

As part of the experience, customers can also share their AR moments on Instagram Stories, tagging @chinesewokin, and earn exclusive gift vouchers as a fun reward.

The brand, which has become a household name in India, continues to delight millions with its bold Desi-Chinese menu and dynamic culinary offerings. Chinese Wok has a strong presence across over 225 locations in 35+ cities and is expanding into the Eastern market, with plans to open 25+ outlets in East India and 100 new restaurants by FY25.

To further boost engagement, Chinese Wok has tapped into influencer marketing to increase visibility and generate buzz across digital platforms.

This latest innovation marks another significant milestone in Chinese Wok’s journey to redefine the Desi-Chinese dining experience, creating moments that go beyond just great food.
