Diageo India has elevated Amitabh Pande to the role of Chief Strategy Officer and inducted him into the company’s Executive Committee, according to a regulatory filing. The appointment, categorised under Senior Management Personnel, will come into effect from 1 June 2026.
In his new role, Pande will report to Praveen Someshwar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Pande brings close to 27 years of experience across consumer strategy, insights, marketing and business planning, having worked with several multinational organisations. He joined Diageo India in 2021 and has since been leading consumer planning, strategy and digital transformation initiatives for the company.
Before joining Diageo India, he held leadership roles at IKEA and PepsiCo.
