PV Sindhu has partnered with the EBG Foundation as its official ambassador, supporting the organisation’s initiatives focused on child welfare, grassroots sports development and women’s empowerment in India.
The collaboration aims to expand the foundation’s community-led programmes and strengthen its outreach across states. According to the organisation, Sindhu’s association is expected to support initiatives designed to address challenges in education access, sports development and economic opportunities for women.
Currently, the foundation runs several grassroots interventions aimed at addressing social challenges through community programmes. With Sindhu joining as ambassador, the organisation plans to expand these initiatives and strengthen its national visibility.
The partnership centres around three flagship initiatives.
The first initiative, Children for Life, focuses on ensuring access to education, healthcare and a safe environment for children. The programme has begun implementation in Telangana, where the foundation is working to create support systems intended to prevent financial hardship from limiting educational opportunities.
Speaking about her association, PV Sindhu said, “True success is meaningful only when it uplifts others. Partnering with EBG Foundation allows me to support causes that are deeply important to me, including children’s development, youth empowerment, and women’s progress. I believe real change begins when opportunity reaches those who need it most.”
The second initiative, Champion, is focused on identifying and nurturing grassroots sports talent. The programme provides training support, equipment and nutritional assistance to young athletes, with the aim of helping them transition from early-stage talent to competitive sport. The foundation has already begun implementing activities related to the programme in Telangana.
The third initiative, Naari Shakti, was launched in December 2025 and addresses barriers faced by women seeking financial independence. The programme offers structured financial assistance of ₹1,500 per month to support vocational training and income-generation opportunities.
Dr Irfan Khan, CEO and Founder, EBG Group, said, “PV Sindhu represents discipline, resilience and excellence, values that align closely with our long-term vision. Our commitment is not only to grow in scale but to grow with responsibility. Through these initiatives, we are building sustainable ecosystems that empower children, nurture champions and enable women to lead with confidence and independence. Her association strengthens our focus on measurable social impact across the country.”
As part of the initiative, the collaboration will also be supported by three 40-second films featuring Sindhu, each focusing on one of the social themes. The films highlight issues such as the impact of hunger on children’s education, the gap between grassroots talent and opportunity in sports, and the challenges that interrupt girls’ education and independence.
In the films, Sindhu appears as a voice highlighting the need for sustained community support and awareness around these issues.
