Speaking on the partnership, Mrunal Thakur said, “Wellness is deeply personal to me. Carlton’s approach goes beyond luxury—it focuses on balance, healing, and inner wellbeing. I’m excited to associate with a brand that encourages people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and prioritise holistic health.”
Carlton Wellness, under EBG Group, is being developed as an integrated wellness-hospitality platform spanning city and hotel-based spas, destination retreats, wellness resorts and wellness-oriented vacation homes and residences. Its model combines clinical and experiential wellness practices such as Ayurveda, naturopathy, mindfulness and hydrotherapy, adapted to Indian lifestyles with an emphasis on preventive care and quality of life.
Several Carlton Wellness spa formats are set to become operational at partner locations, while flagship retreat and resort projects are in advanced stages of development in Ahmedabad, Indore and Manipal. The group has also outlined expansion plans across Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Lucknow, Bengaluru and other Tier-1 markets.
Looking ahead to 2026, the roadmap includes opening 20–30 wellness spas across metro and Tier-1 cities, 4–6 destination retreats, 2–3 boutique wellness resorts, and select luxury wellness residential or vacation home projects across states including Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
Based on this expansion pipeline, the EBG-Carlton platform projects revenues of ₹80–120 crore in FY 2025–26, scaling to ₹180–250 crore in FY 2026–27, driven by spa operations, retreats and resorts, licensing models, managed wellness residences and curated wellness programmes.
Over the next five years, the group aims to expand to more than 50 wellness touchpoints nationwide and position Carlton Wellness as a large, regulated wellness network, with longer-term plans to explore international markets in the GCC and Southeast Asia.
