Elephant has appointed Kedar Parundekar as Chief Growth Officer, as it sharpens its leadership team following the launch of its Asia Pacific hub in Singapore last year.
Parundekar, who brings over 18 years of experience, will lead the firm’s growth strategy with a focus on expanding strategic partnerships, deepening client engagement, and scaling the consultancy’s presence across India and international markets.
He joins with prior experience at global agencies Blue Marlin and Design Bridge, in addition to a long-standing earlier association with Elephant. His portfolio spans work with leading organisations including Tata Group, Reliance Industries, Bacardi, ICICI Bank and Grupo Bimbo.
Founded in 1989, Elephant has played a key role in shaping the business of design in India. The consultancy operates with a team of over 70 strategists, researchers and designers across multiple cities, including Singapore, and partners with brands such as Marico, Coca-Cola, Domino’s, L’Oréal and Revlon.
“This is not just a team augmentation. It reflects our commitment to fostering intrapreneurship that will shape Elephant’s next phase of growth,” said Ashwini Deshpande, Co-founder & Director, Elephant.
“My decision to join Elephant comes from a shared ambition to elevate the role of design from a creative discipline to a strategic growth driver for organisations. Elephant has shaped some of India’s most meaningful brands over the past three decades, and I am excited to help build its next chapter by strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding the firm’s impact across industries and markets,” added Kedar Parundekar, Chief Growth Officer, Elephant
The firm is also a founding member of The Design Alliance Asia, a collective of independent design agencies that has been sharing cultural and regional insights across Asia for over 25 years.
