Enormous has unveiled a new campaign for Nua built around a simple but often ignored insight — when a pad irritates, everything else starts feeling irritating too.
While most period-care communication focuses on cramps, discomfort and mood swings, the campaign shifts attention towards pad irritation, positioning it as an everyday issue that often goes unspoken despite being widely experienced.
The campaign unfolds through a series of three digital films featuring exaggerated and humorous everyday situations where seemingly minor inconveniences spiral into dramatic reactions, reinforcing the idea that physical irritation can affect how the entire day feels.
Through this approach, the films aim to bring relatability and levity to a category traditionally dominated by functional messaging and idealised portrayals.
Speaking about the campaign, Sindhu Sharma, National Creative Director, Enormous, said, “I think for women everywhere, this film will come as a relief because finally, here’s a period ad where women are not jumping around in white pants doing Olympic-level activities on Day 1 of their periods. Instead, it shows something very relatable, being irrationally annoyed at literally everything. What I found really interesting about the brief was that it challenged something women had completely normalised, pad irritation. We’ve all just accepted it as part of the period package. So many moments in it are straight-up nuggets from my own life, which is why this has become one of my favourite pieces of work.”
Nameeta Saigal, SVP - Head of Marketing at Nua, added, “Period care has long been defined by protection. But irritation impacts far more than comfort - it can change how the whole day feels. With Nua Zero Irritation, we wanted to spotlight a simple truth: when you’re physically irritated, everything feels more irritating. These films capture that insight in a light-hearted, relatable way while reflecting our shift from functionality to experience.”
The campaign is currently live across digital and social media platforms.
