The One Show, the world’s most prestigious awards in advertising and design, is calling for final submissions by Friday, 28th February 2025. For over 50 years, the Gold Pencil has been one of the top honours in the creative industry, celebrating innovative and ground-breaking work.
The One Show 2025 introduces several exciting updates, including new categories such as CMO Pencil, Creative Effectiveness, and the Creative Use of Artificial Intelligence discipline.
“The CMO Pencil discipline is now open to the entire industry as an enterable category. The Creative Effectiveness discipline that recognises bold creative work that produced a measurable impact in meeting defined business objectives and played a key role in achieving a brand's purpose will now require a significantly increased level of entry detail regarding insights, strategy, and results,” said organisers.
The Creative Use of Artificial Intelligence discipline honours the synergy between human creativity and technology in evolving creative processes.
The judging process will begin in March 2025, with shortlisted entries advancing to the second round, which will run through March and April. These entries will then be presented to the Juries for final discussions, leading to the announcement of finalists who will be honoured with Pencils or Merit awards.
The One Show gala will take place on May 16, 2025 in New York City.
