Hoopr Partners with Budding Influencers to Tackle Copyright Issues

Hoopr, India’s leading platform for copyright-safe music, has partnered with Budding Influencers, a dynamic influencer network, to tackle a major issue in content creation: copyright compliance. This collaboration gives creators access to Hoopr's vast library of copyright-safe music and educational resources, helping them navigate the complexities of legally using music in commercial content.

Creators often face challenges with copyrighted music, risking serious legal consequences for themselves and the brands they represent. Research by Hoopr shows that 87% of Indian influencers use music without a legal license, leading to copyright claims, content takedowns, and strained brand relationships. A recent Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) study revealed that 69% of the top 100 digital stars in India failed to meet disclosure guidelines, including music violations. These statistics highlight the need for accessible, legally compliant music for creators.

With social media marketing budgets rapidly increasing, the creator market in India is growing at an 18% year-on-year rate, further emphasizing the need for awareness and resources. Through this collaboration, Hoopr will provide over 400,000 influencers in Budding Influencers' network access to its catalogue of copyright-safe music, allowing them to enhance their content without fear of legal issues. The partnership will also offer educational initiatives to demystify copyright laws and promote responsible music usage.
