As 2025 draws to a close, the advertising landscape stands out for its mix of full-fledged storytelling, AI-powered creativity, memeverse humour, emotional narratives, and even sequels to last year’s biggest hits. To celebrate this remarkable year in brand communication, IMPACT is rolling out a special editorial series revisiting the Top 75 Campaigns of 2025, the ads you absolutely saw, and if you didn’t, now’s your chance to catch up.
As we kick off this annual countdown, IMPACT’s editorial team has undergone an exhaustive and meticulous process, spending countless hours reviewing every major campaign released this year, analyzing creative choices, debating cultural impact, and evaluating strategic effectiveness.
From storytelling depth to cultural resonance, production craft, originality, and audience response, every campaign was put under the microscope. After several rounds of internal discussions, shortlists, and passionate disagreements, we finally arrived at what we believe is the most definitive and thoughtfully curated list of the year’s most influential and impactful brand stories.
Kicking off the list at No. 75 is JSW MG Motor India’s ‘EV Sahi Hai’ campaign.
This leg of the campaign features the beloved duo Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat, whose comedic chemistry made iconic through the Fukrey franchise, adds a refreshing layer of humour to the narrative. Set in a casual café environment, the film uses a playful exchange to highlight the rapid expansion of India’s EV charging infrastructure.
Sharma rattles off quirky place names, some real, some sounding suspiciously made-up while Samrat confidently reassures him that “EV stations wahan bhi hain.” The punchline arrives when a girl interjects with “Pimple Saudagar,” leaving Sharma momentarily unsure before declaring that even that locality has a charging station. The film lands its message: India today hosts more than 29,000 EV charging stations, spread across every corner of the country.
The campaign has been conceptualized by Cheil India and written by Amit Nandwani, National Creative Director.
Stay tuned as we reveal the remaining 74 campaigns that shaped India’s advertising narrative in 2025.
