Google has appointed Kanika Kalra as Director of Consumer Apps & Platforms Marketing for India. The announcement was shared by Shekhar Khosla, Vice President – Marketing and Site Lead at Google, who welcomed Kalra to the organisation through a LinkedIn post.

Before joining Google, Kalra was associated with Reckitt as Regional Marketing Director – Health, South Asia, where she worked on brand growth and marketing strategy for the company’s health portfolio in the region.
Kalra brings over 22 years of experience spanning consulting and consumer goods sectors. Over the course of her career, she has worked with organisations including McKinsey & Company, Unilever, and Reckitt.
Her professional experience includes leading brand transformations, launching new product innovations, scaling brands across markets, and developing business models built on consumer insight and marketing strategy.
