Asian Paints has collaborated with Mira Kapoor for a campaign featuring its Royale Play collection, which highlights how textured wall finishes can be used to reflect travel memories and personal stories.
The campaign features Kapoor drawing on her own travel experiences, particularly her visit to Rome, to design a wall in her home using Royale Play finishes. The textures aim to replicate elements such as Roman stonework and architectural details, bringing a sense of place into interior design.
“Every place I’ve travelled to has left a mark on me… and now, on my home,” Kapoor says in the campaign video, which shows the transformation of a space in her home.
The Royale Play range allows homeowners to use textures as a form of visual storytelling. The finishes are designed to move beyond plain wall colours, offering surfaces that reflect individual experiences.
Amit Syngle, MD & CEO, Asian Paints, said, “At Asian Paints, we’ve always believed that décor is deeply personal. It’s a reflection of not just taste, but of memories, passions, and experiences. Royale Play, with its wide range of luxurious textures, offers consumers a powerful toolkit to bring their most cherished moments to life visually. Mira Kapoor perfectly exemplifies this vision showing how even a fleeting memory of Rome can be translated into a lasting impression at home. We hope this collaboration inspires people to see their homes not just as places to live, but as extensions of their own journeys.”
The campaign reflects a broader shift towards using walls as personalised elements within the home. Asian Paints is positioning Royale Play as a product that allows consumers to incorporate personal narratives into their interiors.
