Muthoot FinCorp Limited (MFL) has announced the appointment of Sarah M. George as an Independent Director on its Board.
George, a Chartered Accountant, qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1990. Throughout her career spanning over 35 years, she has worked with several audit and assurance organisations, including S R Batliboi (an EY affiliate firm), Haribhakti & Co. and Price Waterhouse, which she joined in March 2012.
At Price Waterhouse, she held senior leadership positions including All India Assurance Markets Leader and West Region Assurance Leader and also served as Deputy Strategy Leader for the Americas and Asia Pacific region. George was elected to the India Board of the firm in December 2018, where she served until March 2023.
Her experience spans Indian and multinational, listed and unlisted companies across EPC, manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, retail, IT, consumer products, engineering, shipping, and service sectors.
