Ogilvy India has announced the launch of Ogilvy Consulting in the country, appointing Neeraj Bassi as the Head of the India practice. Bassi will be based at the Ogilvy office in Gurugram, where he will also take on the role of Head of Strategic Planning for Ogilvy India (North).
Ogilvy Consulting operates globally to address three core business challenges: Growth & Innovation, Business Design, and Digital Transformation. The consulting arm integrates capabilities across Brand Strategy, Customer Engagement & Commerce, Partnerships, PR & Influence to offer a unified service to clients.
Bassi brings 28 years of experience across consulting and advertising. His most recent role was Chief Growth Officer at Cheil X, a division of Cheil SWA focused on client portfolio expansion. He has previously worked as Chief Strategy Officer at Publicis, Havas and Cheil India. His career began at McCann Erickson in 1997, and he has worked internationally with JWT in Dubai. Bassi previously worked with Ogilvy until 2015, serving as President – Strategic Planning for Ogilvy, Gurugram.
