Pee Safe launched an on-ground campaign to raise awareness about toilet hygiene and the regular use of Toilet Seat Sanitizers on World Toilet Day. While the digital film “Clean Is Not Sanitized” was the start to this campaign, the key drive this year has been the offline activities to get direct engagement from consumers across diverse real-world settings.
Central to the campaign is the habit-forming tongue twister: “Spray. Sit. Flush. Spray.” A tongue twister designed as a simple, easy-to-remember reminder for consumers that sanitising the toilet seat before and after use encouraged consistent and repeatable hygiene practices.
Corporate activations as part of the campaign, included distribution of Toilet Seat Sanitizer across multiple office locations. Employees were educated on the difference between toilets that appear to be clean and those that are properly sanitised, reinforcing the importance of using toilet seat sanitiser before and after each use, particularly in shared restroom environments.
Vikas Bagaria, Founder, Pee Safe, said, “World Toilet Day reminds us that basic hygiene practices are fundamental for health and well-being. Through our offline activities and the simple 'Spray, Sit, Flush, Spray' mantra, we will make toilet hygiene accessible, pragmatic, and habit-forming for all, equipping every individual with the right tools and knowledge to stay safe wherever they go.”
Activities at petrol pumps and rest stops reached out to the women travellers. Women drivers were given free Toilet Seat Sanitizer sprays, helping them feel confident and assured in using any public restroom while travelling, particularly in situations where there could be no guarantee about hygiene conditions.
The campaign extended to college campuses, including institutions such as MDI, BITS Pilani and many more, where students participated in interactive demonstrations highlighting proper toilet hygiene and Toilet Seat Sanitizer usage.
