Pickyourtrail has launched its Father’s Day campaign, #WhoIsYourTravelDad, celebrating the fathers who often serve as the emotional and logistical anchors of family vacations.
Built on insights into how Indian families travel, the campaign recognises the familiar personalities that emerge on every trip — from the dad who prints every booking confirmation and reaches the airport hours early to the one who researches every attraction or insists on finding the best route despite GPS directions.
According to the travel platform, while travel planning has become increasingly digital, fathers continue to play a central role in organising, coordinating and guiding family holidays.
“Our consumer intelligence lends itself to a beautiful, recurring narrative that highlights the dads who plan, panic, protect, and proudly lead every family trip. Even as travel apps and curated itineraries become increasingly common, Indian families continue to rely on their dads to set the tone, manage the interests of their kids, and lead the way,” said Janani Kandaswamy, Head of Marketing at Pickyourtrail.

The campaign revolves around a Travel Dad Scanner, which categorises fathers into 10 distinct travel personalities. Consumers are encouraged to nominate their fathers by identifying the personality that best reflects their travel habits and sharing stories from family vacations.
The multi-phase campaign will also feature influencer participation and user-generated content, turning social media into a repository of family travel memories and anecdotes. The initiative will culminate on Father’s Day with the reveal of India’s most common Travel Dad personalities based on audience participation.
Hari Ganapathy, CEO and Co-founder, Pickyourtrail, said, “At Pickyourtrail, we are constantly evolving our offerings to create more customizable experiences for families. Our goal is to ensure families can enjoy their time together while we take care of the end-to-end logistics. We want to empower families to outsource the planning process completely to us, allowing dads to step back from the responsibility of management and simply focus on creating memories with their loved ones.”
As part of the campaign, Pickyourtrail will also spotlight five standout ‘Travel Dads’, selected from participant submissions, with winners receiving rewards in recognition of the role they play in making family holidays memorable.
