Senior journalist and prime-time anchor Rubika Liyaquat has moved on from Times Now Navbharat, according to sources familiar with the development.
Liyaquat joined the Hindi news channel in June 2026 as Senior Executive Editor – TNNB and Vice President – Special Projects. Based out of the network’s Noida office, she took on key editorial responsibilities, including the channel’s prime-time show News Ki Pathshala.
Her departure comes a little over three months after she joined the Times Network. Before moving to Times Now Navbharat, Liyaquat was associated with News18 India as Consulting Editor and Prime-Time Anchor. She exited the organisation in May 2026 before joining Times Network the following month.
A prominent face in Hindi television news, Liyaquat has close to two decades of experience spanning broadcast journalism, political reporting, prime-time anchoring and newsroom leadership. Over the course of her career, she has worked with several news organisations, including ABP News, Zee News, News24, Bharat24, Live India and News18 India. Prior to News18 India, Liyaquat was associated with Bharat24. She had earlier spent more than five years with ABP News before leaving the network in 2023.
Details of Liyaquat’s next professional move are not known yet.
