The Flipkart Group has announced a leadership transition at Myntra, with Sharon Pais appointed as head of the platform, reporting to Kalyan Krishnamurthy, effective immediately. The move follows the decision of Nandita Sinha to step down.
Pais, currently Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for Fashion at Flipkart and Chief Business Officer at Myntra, brings extensive experience across both organisations, having worked closely with their fashion businesses. Her appointment underscores continuity as Myntra looks to build on its current growth momentum.
Sinha will continue to support the business over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
In a parallel move, Kapil Thirani will lead Flipkart Fashion, reporting to Sakait Chaudhary, while the company initiates the search for a successor for the marketplace business.
Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart Group, said, “Myntra has built a strong position in the fashion and lifestyle space over the years. Sharon has worked closely with the team and understands the business well. This change reflects the depth of our internal leadership and our continued focus on execution. I thank Nandita for her contributions and wish her the very best for the future.”
“Serving Myntra has been a rewarding journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to build alongside an exceptional team and ecosystem. I wish the team continued success in the years ahead,” said Nandita Sinha.
Myntra remains a scaled platform with a strong ecosystem of customers, brands and partners, and will continue to focus on strengthening its position within India’s fashion and lifestyle market.
