Shubhranshu Singh has moved on from Tata Motors after a four-year tenure as the Chief Marketing Officer of its Commercial Vehicles Business unit.
During his time at Tata Motors, Singh played a key role in modernising the brand and marketing function. His tenure also saw the launch of key electric vehicles, including the Ace EV and AcePro EV, marking the brand’s push towards sustainable mobility.
Singh led the integration of Salesforce CRM to enable more personalised customer engagement and steered the company’s digital transformation efforts. Under his leadership, over 25% of commercial vehicle sales originated through digital channels. He also rolled out a large-scale influencer program involving more than 700 creators and helped the brand’s YouTube channel cross one million subscribers.
A seasoned marketer, Singh has previously worked with major brands including Hindustan Unilever, Diageo, Visa, Royal Enfield, and Star Sports. He was recently featured in the 2025 Forbes list of the World’s Most Influential CMOs and became the only Asia-Pacific representative on the Effie LIONS Foundation Board.
