Skyscanner Launches Nationwide OOH Campaign Linking India’s T20 Fever with Travel Passion

As India defends its T20 crown under captain Suryakumar ‘SKY’ Yadav, Skyscanner has rolled out a high-impact nationwide Out-Of-Home (OOH) campaign that connects the country’s cricket passion with the growing trend of travelling for live sporting experiences.

Conceptualised by Talented, the campaign draws creative inspiration from SKY’s inventive batting style, imagining his soaring sixes travelling beyond stadiums and “breaking” outdoor installations across host cities. Through bold visuals placed across Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad—around stadium precincts, airports and major commuter corridors—the campaign turns everyday urban spaces into extensions of the match experience.

Running from 7 February to 8 March, the initiative also features a real-time ‘Live Score’ outdoor experience across hundreds of digital screens in high-footfall transit hubs such as Delhi Airport and Mumbai Metro lines. These displays bring live match updates, countdowns and tournament information to travellers and daily commuters, blending cricket excitement with travel inspiration.

Beyond outdoor media, Skyscanner has extended the campaign through digital integrations with JioHotstar during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and partnerships with Yatra.com, HappyFares and Paytm Checkin, offering travel discounts for fans planning match-day trips.

Commenting on the campaign, Neel Ghose, Travel Trends and Destinations Expert, Skyscanner, said, “Cricket has become one of the strongest catalysts for how Indians plan their travel today. During this T20 tournament, we’re seeing clear signals of that behaviour translating into travel intent, with search demand to host cities rising steadily and peaking as marquee matches approach. Our role at Skyscanner is to remove the friction from these travel planning moments, helping travellers compare options effortlessly, track prices, and plan smarter so they can focus on the experience, whether that’s match day or the journey around it.”

With fixtures spread across multiple cities, the campaign positions Skyscanner as a travel companion for cricket fans, turning match excitement into seamless journeys—from spontaneous trips to carefully planned multi-city travel experiences.
