Snapdeal has launched Project Gati, a 45-day seller acceleration programme aimed at helping new sellers scale their businesses ahead of the upcoming festive shopping season.
The initiative comes as the e-commerce platform ramps up preparations for the festive period beginning with Rakshabandhan and Independence Day in August, followed by Diwali, Christmas and New Year. Alongside the programme, Snapdeal is also training sellers to adopt technology and AI tools to improve operational efficiency while continuing to benefit from its zero-commission marketplace model.
Under Project Gati, newly onboarded sellers will receive advertising credits, faster payment cycles, AI-enabled cataloguing support, marketplace and consumer trend insights, and dedicated priority support during their first 45 days on the platform.
Commenting on the initiative, Achint Setia, CEO, Snapdeal, said, “The festive season is an important growth opportunity for sellers, but success depends on getting the fundamentals right, from building relevant assortments and creating strong catalogues to managing working capital and reaching the right customers. With Project Gati, we are giving new sellers focused support during their first 45 days on Snapdeal, helping them navigate the marketplace, generate early momentum and build a strong foundation for sustainable growth.”
Snapdeal said the programme is part of its selective seller onboarding strategy, designed to help new merchants improve product discovery, generate initial orders and build sustainable businesses through technology-enabled support and marketplace insights.
