Stayfree, a leading brand in menstrual hygiene, has partnered with GoFloRun 2024, an inspiring women’s marathon that celebrates women's health and empowerment. The inaugural GoFloRun saw prominent personalities such as actress Neha Dhupia and entrepreneur Anita Lobo join hundreds of women of all ages in breaking stigmas surrounding women's health, with a particular focus on menstrual hygiene.
Stayfree’s involvement in GoFloRun highlights its commitment to supporting, uplifting, and empowering women. By partnering with this initiative, Stayfree takes another step toward normalising conversations about periods. The event featured educational sessions, engaging activities, and opportunities for participants to experience Stayfree's range of menstrual products designed to offer comfort and freedom, enabling women to make informed choices that best suit their needs. Kenvue, the parent company of Stayfree, also had employees participate in the run.
Manoj Gadgil, Business Unit Head-Essential Health and Skin Health and Vice President of Marketing at Kenvue, shared, "The GoFloRun is a fantastic initiative that promotes menstrual health and fitness, empowering women to lead active lives even during their periods. For Stayfree, it's not about how many cross the finish line, but about how many take the first step towards normalising periods and pursuing their passions freely, without shame or discomfort. We’re thrilled by the enthusiastic participation from women across all age groups."
Leading up to the marathon, GoFlo and Stayfree hosted educational sessions in schools and colleges across Mumbai. These sessions focused on menstrual health, debunked common myths, and worked to eliminate taboos, encouraging young girls to feel comfortable with their periods from an early age.
