Tinder has launched its 'Move On with Tinder' campaign in India this Valentine’s Day, offering a fresh take on the post-breakup journey. The initiative encourages singles to embrace new beginnings with empowerment and fun, through a series of engaging collaborations and interactive experiences.
In partnership with Blinkit, Tinder has introduced an interactive Single Mode slider on the delivery app’s homepage. Clicking on the slider directs users to a dedicated page with a playful, step-by-step guide to healing, featuring activities like ‘Have a Good Cry,’ ‘Dumping Your Memories,’ and ‘Shake Things Up’ with bold new styles. Each stage of the moving-on process is paired with Blinkit’s quick-delivery essentials, empowering users to take control of their dating lives.
Tinder has also collaborated with influencer Orry for the 'Axe Your Ex' campaign. In a lighthearted video, Orry encourages people to send in photos with their exes to be edited out—a symbolic act of moving on. Through witty lines such as “Don’t just be a liver, be a leaver!” and “They left you on read, but you deserve the red carpet!” the campaign reinforces the idea that letting go can be both fun and empowering.
Tinder has transformed the streets of Mumbai with a bold Griebra Crossing, designed to reflect the emotional rollercoaster of heartbreak. Words like ‘Tanhaai,’ ‘Take Me Back,’ and ‘Tears’ painted the zebra crossing, but stepping over it symbolised crossing into a happier, confident future.
The campaign also featured ‘The Move On Game,’ a pickleball event at Rackonnect, where singles participated in a high-energy experience designed to encourage clear choices on and off the court.
Partnering with the Gaysi Family, Tinder showcased queer community testimonies on how they have navigated heartbreak. The Opn Art House installation, on display in Delhi on February 15 and 16, also features interactive activities like letter writing to exes and opportunities to let go of old feelings.
“Tinder has always been about embracing new possibilities, and our Move On campaign is all about making the next chapter exciting. Whether it’s teaming up with Blinkit and Gaysi Family, sharing a fun moment with Orry, or diving into interactive experiences like Pickleball and Griebra, we want to remind singles that moving on can be fun, empowering, and freeing. We're also making it easier for singles to match with intention—globally, Tinder’s Explore section is expanding with new tiles like ‘Serious Dater,’ ‘Binge Watcher,’ and ‘New Friends’, helping people connect over shared interests and relationship goals. Our mission is simple: to give singles the freedom to date on their own terms—whether it’s something serious, casual, or just new connections,” said Anukool Kumar, Head of Marketing at Tinder in India.
Tinder's Valentine’s Day campaign celebrates moving on and finding new connections, while the Tinder Dating Safety Guide, now available in four Indian languages, ensures that singles can date confidently.
