On International Day of Sign Languages, Titan Company has released “His Hands, His Voice”, a tribute to V. Krishnamurthy, a deaf and non-verbal Titan employee whose voluntary service as a traffic warden in Hosur has turned resilience into a way of life.
For over 8,850 hours, Krishnamurthy has been a familiar figure at Hosur’s busiest junctions. Twice a week, he takes his place, letting his hands do the talking. In a single minute, he guides over 60 pedestrians and vehicles bringing order to the chaos of NH-44, one of India’s most accident-prone corridors. With quiet determination, he manages crossings, reminds riders to wear helmets, and shares road-safety tips through hand signals and Indian Sign Language.
The film celebrates this journey, using the metaphor of hands to show how Krishnamurthy has created, guided, and inspired not with words, but with unwavering action.
Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar N.E., Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Company, said, “Volunteering has been deeply ingrained in Titan’s ethos for decades, and Krishnamurthy is a shining example of how service can transcend barriers. His story reflects how one individual’s determination can create a ripple effect of safety, awareness, and inclusion across an entire community. We are proud to have leaders like him in our volunteer family, whose commitment extends beyond duty into inspiring inclusion and safety at scale.”
Speaking on the film, Sirish Chandrashekar, Head of Corporate Brand, Titan Company, said, “At Titan, we believe true inclusion is a value we hold dear and celebrate through stories that inspire us to be committed to the communities we serve. Krishnamurthy’s hands do more than guide traffic; they guide us all towards empathy, resilience, and civic responsibility. This film is our way of honouring him.”
Maitri Ramkumar, Senior Creative Director – Digital, Ogilvy Bangalore, shared, “Krishnamurthy’s journey isn't just about overcoming a challenge; it's about the extraordinary resilience, made inspiring with profound positivity. This film celebrates that spirit. In creating this piece, Titan wins hearts by showing us just how much they value their family. We’re proud to help bring this story to life.”
