Flipkart is reportedly set to witness two senior leadership exits. Gunjan Bhartia, Senior Vice President, Business Finance, and Amer Hussain, Vice President of Supply Chain for Grocery and Minutes, are likely to step down from their roles, according to media reports citing sources.
Bhartia joined Flipkart in December 2025, to lead finance partnering to drive growth for supply chain. Previously, he held senior finance roles at organisations such as
Hussain joined the company a month later, in January 2026, to manage supply chain operations, including planning, replenishment, fulfilment, transportation and customer delivery for Grocery and Minutes. Before joining Flipkart, Hussain served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Reliance Consumer Products Limited.
The likely departures add to a broader churn in Flipkart group’s senior management in recent months.
Earlier, Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha left to join Swiggy, where she took charge of Instamart. Flipkart veteran Ankit Jain also moved to Swiggy as Senior Vice President of Operations. Meanwhile, Flipkart Group CFO Sriram Venkatraman has also stepped down from his position.
The leadership reshuffle comes as Flipkart continues to sharpen its focus on profitability. The company had also reportedly deferred its plans for an initial public offering (IPO), according to earlier media reports.
