Urban Jungle, a travel gear brand positioned at the intersection of style and functionality, has recently explored humor-led storytelling as part of its content strategy. Drawing inspiration from everyday spontaneity and unscripted formats, the brand has collaborated with comedians and performers to create campaigns that blur the line between entertainment and advertising.
Among its latest initiatives was a podcast-style reel with stand-up comedian Samay Raina, where Urban Jungle’s products were woven into the punchline, described by the brand as “ads that don’t feel like ads.” Building on this approach, Urban Jungle also partnered with The Mid-Size Improv Show for Unplanned at Habitat, Khar—an interactive comedy evening featuring performers Neville Bharucha, Tanvika Parlikar, Trisha Kanga, Shantanu Anam, Manik Papneja, Sahir Mehta, Aditya Kashyap, and Tarang Hardikar. The event featured audience participation through games and improvisations that included brand elements, aligning with Urban Jungle’s stated focus on flexibility, originality, and narratives that reflect the unpredictability of everyday journeys.
“Our collaboration with Samay Raina has been an incredible success, authentic and bold, just like our products. Our ethos has always been simple: create bags that are refreshingly different from the tired black-and-blue crowd. This campaign isn’t a product commercial; it’s a call to break free from the ordinary and enjoy the journey. Samay doesn’t take the usual route, and neither do we. We’re just getting started, and we’re excited to keep pushing boundaries with a community that loves travel as much as we do,” said Tanisha Jatia, Founder & Brand Lead, Urban Jungle.
Urban Jungle has been experimenting with humor-driven storytelling to connect with younger audiences. Through the use of improv formats, internet humor, and collaborations with comedians, the brand is positioning itself at the intersection of travel and culture. These efforts are part of its approach to integrate entertainment into brand communication while maintaining relatability and audience engagement.
