Vi has announced a strategic partnership with PhysicsWallah to launch an integrated prepaid offering that combines mobile connectivity with digital learning access.
The initiative, branded as Vi Edu+, bundles Vi prepaid recharge plans with access to PhysicsWallah’s educational OTT platform, Pi. The offering will initially be available in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh (UP East circle), with phased expansion planned for additional regions.
Under the partnership, students purchasing select Vi Edu+ prepaid plans will receive access to PW Pi Pro for 28 days alongside unlimited 4G/5G data, unlimited voice calls and daily SMS benefits.
The collaboration is aimed at students preparing for board examinations and competitive tests including JEE, NEET and UPSC, while also providing access to content across subjects ranging from kindergarten to Class 12, alongside upskilling modules in areas such as technology, finance, Gen AI, design and marketing.
The platform includes recorded and live lectures, AI-powered doubt-solving, quizzes, handwritten notes, revision series, practice tests and performance tracking tools, with offline download functionality for flexible learning access.
The company stated that the initiative is intended to make structured learning content more accessible for students regardless of their proximity to coaching centres, effectively positioning mobile devices as integrated learning tools.
The Vi Edu+ prepaid packs will be priced at ₹375 in Rajasthan and ₹409 in UP East, aligned with a 28-day prepaid cycle.
