vivo India Elevates Geetaj Channana to Chief Corporate Communications Officer

vivo India has promoted Geetaj Channana to the role of Chief Corporate Communications Officer, marking an internal elevation within the organisation. Channana shared the update through a LinkedIn post.

Prior to this role, he served as Head of Corporate Communications at vivo India. Since joining the company in March 2020, he has led the brand’s corporate communications, reputation management and strategic storytelling initiatives in the country.

With nearly three decades of experience, Channana brings expertise across media, public relations, digital communications and corporate communications. His career spans journalism, PR consulting and corporate leadership, contributing to his experience in brand building and reputation management within the technology sector.

Before joining vivo India, he worked with global communications firms including MSL and Archetype, where he partnered with international technology brands on integrated communications and reputation management.

Channana began his career in technology journalism, working with organisations such as CyberMedia, International Data Group and NDTV.
