Wipro Consumer Care International (WCCI) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shareholding in Philippines-based personal care company S Brands Consumer Care Inc. (S Brands), strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia.
The acquisition marks Wipro Consumer Care International’s 16th global acquisition and its second in the Philippines.
S Brands owns a portfolio of personal care brands including KERATINplus, AlcoPlus, DeoPlus, Empress and Fiona Cologne, which hold positions across categories such as hair treatment, hygiene, deodorants, hair care and fragrances in the Philippines.

Wipro Consumer Care International said the acquisition will further strengthen its personal care portfolio and expand its footprint across Southeast Asia. The company operates in more than 60 markets across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
