Airtel IPTV has unveiled a special Independence Day watchlist featuring stories of courage, sacrifice and resilience, led by Operation Safed Sagar, inspired by the Indian Air Force’s Golden Arrows Squadron and its role during the 1999 Kargil War.
The series also anchors a special Independence Day collaboration between Airtel and Netflix through the #MillionThankYou initiative, which invites people across India to express their gratitude to the Indian Air Force. As part of the campaign, Airtel has set up Thank You Stations across 11 cities in 10 states, while a dedicated WhatsApp journey enables people to participate from anywhere in the country. A special screening of Operation Safed Sagar was also held for the real-life Air Force heroes associated with the mission.
Beyond the flagship title, Airtel IPTV’s Independence Day line-up brings together films and series that revisit different chapters of India’s history and explore themes of national service, resilience and sacrifice.
The platform offers access to more than 25 streaming apps, over 650 live television channels and an on-demand content library through a single entertainment interface, with plans starting at ₹699.
