To mark Raksha Bandhan, Apsara collaborated with Gurseerat, a special educator and disability advocate navigating life with hearing loss, and Maahir, a neurodivergent creator with autism, for an initiative to celebrate creativity and form new bonds with children from a special school.

Gurseerat expressed herself through handwritten letters using Apsara Zesta Scented Pens, while Maahir brought his creativity to life through handmade rachis using Apsara’s Matt Magic Pencils.
The initiative was rooted in the belief that Raksha Bandhan is not just about celebrating existing relationships, but also about creating new ones through kindness, inclusion and shared experiences.
Commenting on the initiative, Aishwarya Shinod, Chief Marketing Officer, Hindustan Pencils said, “In a world where children are more connected digitally than ever before, perhaps what they are really seeking is a connection that feels human. And that's exactly what Gurseerat and Maahir created; bringing children together through creativity, expression and the simple joy of reaching out to one another. What makes this especially beautiful is that these new bonds were created straight from the heart. We are incredibly happy that Apsara could play a small part in bringing this beautiful thought to life. For us, it is a reminder that creativity isn't just about making something; sometimes, it is about creating a connection that stays with you.”
