Bata India has unveiled a refreshed chapter of its ‘Make Your Way’ campaign, with actor Sanjana Sanghi joining as the new face of the brand. The campaign places the Victoria Ballerina range at its centre, positioning the classic silhouette as an everyday footwear essential that blends comfort, style and all-day wearability.
Bata’s association with ballerinas is deeply rooted in its design heritage. The brand holds the trademark for “Ballerinas”, having created and popularised the category in India, which has since become one of the most loved segments in women’s footwear. The campaign builds on this legacy, reinforcing the ballerina as a symbol of modern femininity and everyday comfort.
At the heart of the campaign is a digital-first film that brings the ‘Make Your Way’ philosophy to life. The narrative focuses on how the Victoria Ballerina fits seamlessly into women’s daily routines — from work and college to leisure and everyday movement — reflecting the realities of modern lifestyles where comfort is non-negotiable. Sanjana Sanghi’s grounded, self-made journey aligns with the values the collection represents: confidence, authenticity and purpose-driven choices.

Ballerinas have long been central to Bata’s design philosophy. Inspired by Europe’s classical dance lineage, the silhouette was originally designed for balance, flexibility and long hours on the feet. Over time, Bata has refined the form through multiple mould iterations to deliver enhanced arch support, soft cushioning and breathable, foot-hugging uppers — bringing comfort into everyday wear.
The Victoria Ballerina collection features lightweight silhouettes in soft pastels and warm neutral tones, combining Bata’s comfort-first approach with clean, feminine design. The range is created for women who move effortlessly between multiple roles and settings through the day.
