Bhagavad Gita for All (BGFA), an initiative founded by Mr. Prithviraaj Shetty, has launched its first festive campaign ahead of Diwali. The campaign features actress and wellness advocate Shilpa Shetty, along with her sister Shamita Shetty.
Titled “Gift of Inner Light,” the campaign aims to encourage families to complement the festival of lights by engaging with the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. BGFA promotes the Gita as a source of peace, resilience, and personal strength. The initiative uses simplified teachings, interactive design, visual storytelling, and practical guidance to make the Gita more accessible.
Mr. Prithviraaj Shetty said Shilpa Shetty was chosen for the campaign due to her involvement in yoga, her interest in holistic living, and her role as a mother who prioritises emotional well-being. He stated, “Shilpa beautifully represents the spirit of blending tradition with modern living. Her journey of wellness and balance mirrors what BGFA stands for - bringing the timeless wisdom of the Gita into today’s homes in a way that feels both relevant and inspiring.”

Sharing her views, Shilpa Shetty said, “Yoga connects us with our inner self, offering clarity and peace. The Gita deepens that journey, showing us how to live with wisdom, balance, and strength. This Diwali, I truly believe the most meaningful gift we can share with our loved ones is the Bhagavad Gita - it is more than just a book, it is a guide for life. To gift the Gita is to gift light, harmony, and inner strength.”
Shamita Shetty also commented on the initiative, stating that BGFA has made the Gita’s teachings more relatable for younger audiences. She described it as “a gift of inspiration that transcends generations.”
