boAt has rolled out a social-first content campaign in collaboration with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), leveraging its role as the team’s official audio partner for the ongoing T20 cricket season.
The campaign is designed to tap into cricket fandom through real-time, digital-first storytelling, combining sport, entertainment and product integration. Executed by Owled Media, the initiative is structured around three key content pillars: fan-led interactions, match-driven celebration moments and product-focused narratives.
The content features players including Virat Kohli, Krunal Pandya, Phil Salt and Jitesh Sharma, capturing behind-the-scenes interactions, banter-led formats and matchday highlights.
At the same time, the brand’s product ecosystem is integrated into the content, highlighting features such as active noise cancellation (ANC), wireless convenience and immersive audio experiences within matchday and fan engagement contexts.
According to the company, early campaign performance has shown traction across social platforms, with multiple reels generating between 2.3 million and 5.3 million views, alongside strong engagement metrics.

Vedansh Kumar, Head of Brand Marketing, said, “Cricket and audio are the pulse of India. This partnership with RCB is our way of turning up the volume on fandom. We’re moving past traditional sponsorships to deliver raw, social-first content that perfectly pairs the high-octane energy of the season with boAt’s immersive audio ecosystem.”
Virti Seth, Campaign Manager at Owled Media, said, “Topical moments like this don’t give you the luxury of time; you’re working to tap into the hype as it builds and add to it in real time. Our aim was to match that pace, so content went out when it mattered. With boAt and RCB, it was about staying in sync with that energy.”
The campaign reflects a broader shift in sports marketing, where brands are increasingly using real-time, platform-native content to engage audiences beyond traditional sponsorship visibility.
