Cipla has appointed Shivam Puri as Chief Executive Officer of its One India Business, effective July 1, 2026, according to a regulatory filing with the BSE.
Puri currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cipla Health, the company's wholly owned consumer healthcare subsidiary, a role he has held since 2019.
During his tenure, Cipla Health expanded its portfolio across categories including smoking cessation, pain care, cough and cold, skin care, hair care and nutrition. He also played a key role in scaling the business from a startup venture into a major player in India’s fast-moving wellness goods market over the past seven years.
With more than 23 years of experience spanning the FMCG and healthcare sectors, Puri brings expertise in business leadership, commercial strategy and consumer-focused growth.
Before joining Cipla Health, he held leadership positions at Hindustan Unilever, Jubilant FoodWorks and ITC.
