Glam 21 is taking its beauty conversation into entertainment with a new nine-episode micro-drama series built around the relatable experience of being the third wheel.
Blending friendship, romance and everyday awkward moments, the series follows an episodic storyline designed to keep viewers curious about what happens next. The format also gives Glam 21 a way to bring its beauty products into the story without relying on conventional product-led communication.
The brand’s makeup essentials across lips, eyes and complexion feature through the characters’ everyday looks and on-screen moments. Products including Tint It Lip Balm and Double Drama Eyeliner plus Kajal are woven into the narrative as part of the characters’ routines.
Featuring creators and performers, the series has launched across social media, with Instagram Reels and YouTube leading the rollout.
“Beauty can be narrated through stories, moments, and formats that feel relevant to today’s audience. With this micro-drama series, we wanted to explore a more engaging way to bring beauty into everyday life. The ‘third-wheeling' storyline adds humour, friendship, and relatable moments. The episodic format gives viewers a reason to follow the journey. Through a campaign like this, Glam 21 built to explore fresh ways of connecting beauty with the culture and conversation that matter to younger audiences,” said Bikash Goyal, Co-founder, Glam 21.
The launch marks Glam 21’s move towards entertainment-led content, using a format familiar to younger digital audiences. Rather than placing products at the centre of the communication, the campaign uses character relationships and storytelling to create a setting where beauty becomes part of everyday life.
With its episodic narrative, relatable relationships and beauty-led styling, the series gives Glam 21 a new route to engage Gen Z and young beauty audiences through entertainment.
