Hector launches platform to optimise quick-commerce operations

Wondrlab’s commerce technology platform connects advertising, inventory and fulfilment data to help brands act on quick-commerce performance rather than rely on reporting alone

Hector launches platform to optimise quick-commerce operations

Hector, Wondrlab’s proprietary commerce technology platform, has expanded its quick-commerce offering with a platform that brings together advertising, inventory, supply chain and market intelligence to help brands link media performance with business outcomes.

The platform is built for quick-commerce ecosystems including Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto. Unlike conventional dashboards that primarily report advertising or sales performance, Hector connects the product journey from vendor and warehouse to dark store, platform and final customer.

Hector’s quick-commerce practice grew out of Wondrlab’s own performance-marketing operations, where the team was already managing advertising for brands on quick-commerce platforms. According to the company, the experience highlighted instances where campaigns could be optimised but still fail to deliver because products were unavailable in high-demand dark stores or stock had not moved from warehouses to the front end.

The platform therefore brings purchase orders, supply chain, inventory and market intelligence into the same system as advertising data. Powered by Hector’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), it is designed to identify where demand is being created, where inventory is available, what competitors are doing and where action is required.

Hector currently works with more than 350 clients across India and the US, while its quick-commerce practice serves approximately 20 clients each month. The platform also manages more than ₹1,000 crore in annual advertising spend and is ranked among Amazon’s top 20 advertising partners globally, according to the company.

Saurabh Varma, Founder, Wondrlab Network, said, “The fundamental question we ask at Hector is not ‘what does the dashboard say?’ but ‘what outcome are we trying to deliver?’ Quick commerce is a particularly complex environment because advertising and inventory cannot be looked at in isolation. You can optimise an ad beautifully, but if the product isn't available in the right dark store, the business outcome is lost. Our technology allows us to look at the entire journey and make decisions against the outcome that matters to the brand.”

The outcome-led approach also allows Hector to adopt a commercial model in which it can commit to measurable outcomes for clients, making the results delivered for the brand part of the engagement.

Meher Patel, Founder, Hector AI, said, “We are not building another advertising dashboard or reporting layer. We are connecting the different parts of the quick-commerce ecosystem and working backwards from the outcome. That gives us the confidence to take greater accountability for the results we create for clients. The success of the platform should ultimately be measured by what it delivers for the brand.”

Hector’s quick-commerce offering is designed to enable brands to move from platform-specific decisions to a broader view connecting advertising, inventory and fulfilment with sales and operational outcomes.
