Home Credit India, a consumer finance company, has launched its festive campaign, #UpgradeWaaliDiwali, as part of its ongoing brand initiative, #ZindagiHit!. The campaign is intended to highlight the role of financial solutions in supporting both lifestyle improvements and shared responsibilities during the Diwali season.
The campaign is currently live across digital platforms, including the company’s social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
UpgradeWaaliDiwali focuses on the idea that Diwali is not only a time for material upgrades but also an opportunity to reinforce family relationships and responsibilities. It presents the notion that upgrading one’s lifestyle can go hand-in-hand with sharing household duties.
The campaign video by Home Credit India features a joint family across three generations – father, son, and grandson – involved in Diwali preparations. The father is shown managing shopping decisions while using an outdated mobile phone. The son suggests an upgrade, prompting the father to comment on his son’s increasing involvement in family decisions.
The next morning, the father finds a new phone on his bedside table, accompanied by a note from his son. The message acknowledges the father’s role in the family while expressing the son’s willingness to take on more responsibility. The storyline ends with the father discovering Home Credit India’s financing solutions, positioning the company as a facilitator in acquiring consumer durables and mobile devices.
Ashish Tiwari, Chief Marketing Officer, Home Credit India, said, “Festivals in India are all about emotions, togetherness, and fulfilling dreams. With #UpgradeWaaliDiwali, we wanted to capture this spirit while showing how Home Credit India is enabling families to celebrate without compromise. Our simple and customer-friendly financing options ensure that upgrading one’s lifestyle, be it appliances, gadgets, or home needs, becomes effortless. More than just financial support, it’s about creating happiness, pride, and confidence in every household we touch.”
Home Credit India states that the campaign aims to underline its role in providing accessible and convenient financial solutions. By encouraging families to share responsibilities while upgrading essential items, the company seeks to support festive celebrations grounded in collective participation and practical choices.
