Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reduced the prices of many popular products after the government’s latest GST changes. The new prices will be effective from September 22, 2025, and will soon be available in shops across the country.
The price cuts cover shampoos, soaps, toothpaste, coffee, health drinks, mayonnaise, ketchup, and even cosmetics.
For example, Dove Hair Fall Rescue Shampoo (340 ml) will now cost Rs 435 instead of Rs 490, and Clinic Plus Strong & Long Shampoo (355 ml) will drop from Rs 393 to Rs 340. Everyday items like Dove soap are down from Rs 45 to Rs 40, and Lifebuoy soaps (pack of 4) are cheaper at Rs 60 instead of Rs 68.
Popular household products such as Kissan ketchup, Knorr soup, Horlicks, Boost, and Bru coffee have also become cheaper. Lakme cosmetics like the 9 to 5 Compact are included too, with prices falling from Rs 675 to Rs 599.
HUL announced the revised prices in newspaper ads, as required by law, so that consumers know what to expect when they buy these products.
